ReForm

Vision

To give Bangladesh a new scholarly face that the world values.

Mission

• To bring researchers together through knowledge sharing
• To innovate and enhance productivity and technological advancement of Bangladesh

Guiding principles

The guideline of ReForm stands on the 5Cs:
• Catalyze unhindered and unbiased technology transfer by harnessing advances in computational analytics in research
• Collaborate among researchers in coordination with the core team of the ReForm for research purposes keeping computational analytics at the heart of all interdisciplinary research
• Create network with relevant stakeholders both home and abroad for research and dissemination
• Capacitate researchers by facilitating them with the necessary inputs required
• Cooperation to generate knowledge and contribute to nation building

The motivation behind the "Research Platform" (ReForm) is to give Bangladesh a new scholarly face that the world values, by bringing researchers (Bangladeshi or working on Bangladesh) together through sharing knowledge. Reform aspires to innovate and enhance productivity and technological advancement of Bangladesh.

Our objective is to form and develop an international standard research "platform" with Bangladeshi/International (interested in Bangladesh) scholars and researchers at its center. As the backbone of this, ReForm will bring together Bangladeshi computational scientists/researchers from all around the world. This platform will establish groups/subgroups for heading different research disciplines and domains (e.g. Public Policy, Economics, Biology, Physics, Healthcare Informatics, Mathematics, etc.) within itself and thus promote interdisciplinary research, teaching, learning, and finally dissemination of knowledge acquired by investigation/Research.

ReForm is established for the researchers, by the researchers – to obtain a win-win outcome for all. This platform will help researchers spent lesser time on trying to form collaboration. With scope for easy collaboration around the world, researchers will enhance own knowledge/skills and contribute in nation building. There is no funding requirements needed to be a part of the platform; but one can use the platform’s resources, at a later point, to obtain their own funding. Once fully established, the platform (transformed into a center/sub-centers) may decide to provide some managerial/organization support in terms of getting grants, brining in new opportunities, or organizing seminars, etc.
